FreeDOM Development is happy to announce about the start of a new and unique training+internship opportunity designed and devoted to Community Managers.
What is a community and who is a community manager?
Community is a group of people connected and gathered around one idea. A group of people who share common interests, goals, perspectives, views, and characteristics. It’s a way for individuals to connect and support each other around one common idea.
Community manager is someone who is responsible for building and maintaining relationships within the group (both offline and online) to foster a positive and engaging atmosphere for the community. They define and maintain rules, help facilitate communication, resolve issues, and ensure that everyone is connected in the community and there is a sense of belonging among the members.
In the scope of the training/internship program, the participants will have the opportunity to pass a free-of-charge training program for 3-4 months where they can gain all the necessary technical knowledge, and soft and hard skills to be able to dive into the field of community management and handle all the position-related responsibilities in the future job.
After successfully finishing the training program the applicants will start a 2 months paid internship and be involved in real-job tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications to be accepted to the training+internship program:
- Fluency in English, Russian, Armenian (both speaking and writing)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A ProActive approach to work
- Attention to details
- Creativity and adaptability
- Managerial, leadership, and organizational skills
- Basic knowledge of analytical tools
- Knowledge about how various social media platforms work
- Ability to actively research new trends and hot topics, actively engage with the latest industry development
Training responsibilities and duties:
- Be involved in full-time training with theoretical and practical lessons
- Be involved in researching and learning the latest skills and technologies required for the position
- Be ready to start the training by exploring a few technical topics before passing to the main position-related ones.
Responsibilities after being hired:
- Actively engage with community members to foster positive interactions and build relationships
- Support the goal of the community and clearly communicate it to the members
- Support community rules and guidelines and maintain these rules and standards to keep all organized
- Develop and share relevant content to keep the community active and interested
- Address concerns, conflicts, or issues within the community promptly and effectively
- Implement strategies to grow the community by attracting new members and retaining the existing ones
- Build a network through online and offline interactions (participate in events, have meetups, interact on social media platforms, etc.)
- Plan and organize community events to enhance engagement
- Collect and analyze feedback to understand trends and areas of improvement
Training+Internship program details:
- The training/internship program, as well as the further work, will be fully remote.
- We request a minimum commitment of 30-40 weekly hours availability for the training program.
- Scheduling of the training period is flexible and as per your needs could include a variety of weekdays as well as Saturdays and Sundays.
- The duration of the program is ~5-6 months (3-4 months free training + 2 months paid internship/probation)
- Please note that the duration of the program also mostly depends on the temp, dedication, and progress of the participant. Depending on it, the duration can be either shortened or prolonged.
