Full-Stack Web Developer

Job Description

FreeDOM Development is looking for a Full-Stack Web Developer responsible for developing projects of our clients within our service. Your primary focus will be on creating mobile and desktop web applications and being responsible for both server-side logic and front-end logic. You will translate the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce the visual elements of the application. You will also design the overall architecture of the web application and adjust it to ensure maximum performance and stability. A thorough understanding of all components of our infrastructure is required.

Responsibilities

• Designing  the overall architecture of the web application
• Implementation of a robust set of services and APIs to power the web application
• Building reusable code and libraries for the future use
• Application optimization for maximum speed and scalability
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Translation of UI/UX wireframes/mockups to visual elements
• Integration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web application

Skills and Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of a back-end programming language - PHP, NodeJS
• Web fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React, or Ember
• JS-based building tools like Grunt, Gulp, and Bower
• Libraries like jQuery or Backbone.js
• Front-end (CSS) frameworks like Foundation or Bootstrap
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors - LESS, SASS
• API design and development
• RESTful Services and CRUD
• Database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Frameworks related to the server-side: Laravel, Zend
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools - GIT
• Familiarity with development aiding tools - Gulp, Bower
