Senior Data Engineer

Our Data team provides services for clients all over the world. In this role, you will see a direct link between your work, company growth, and user satisfaction. You will have the opportunity to solve some of challenging business problems and become a member in one of Armenia's first big data companies.

This is a full-time position based in Yerevan.

Responsibilities

• Creating data pipelines, extracting data from source system and preparing content for analysis
• Supporting in designing polyglot data platforms
• Interface with Engineers, Product Managers and Product Analysts
• Build data expertise and own data quality for allocated areas of ownership
• Support critical data processes running in production

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of working experience
• Experience with at least two technologies from the Big Data Stack (Spark, Kafka or Hadoop)
• Good experience in at least one of the following languages: Scala, Python or Java
• Experience with relational Databases, SQL and NoSQL
• Experience with Container Technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Good hands on Experience with Linux
• Basic knowledge of cloud technologies
